I am a New Zealand based furniture maker designing and creating beautiful, elegant, classic and contemporary furniture for private clients.
All my pieces are made using carefully selected materials of the highest quality
Console table
Made from Ash with Kahikatea drawer bottoms and featuring an Oak bead - this side table features hand-cut joinery throughout including dovetailed drawers.
It measures 1200mm long, 820mm tall and 420mm deep.
This design can be made to measure from the timber of your choice - please contact me for further details.
Machinist's Tool Chest. Mahogany and leather. A replica of a piece in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
Fully lockable with seven drawers and lidded compartment.
Cabinet is finished with Danish oil.
Lidded compartment and drawers are lined with leather.
Custom-made drawer pulls. Mahogany, turned on my lathe and stained black.
Dining Chairs
Dining chairs made from wind-thrown Totora sourced in Northland, New Zealand.
Seats upholstered in red leather.
Traditional hand-cut mortise and tenon joinery. Steam bent back rest with Danish oil finish.
Kumiko boxes
A pair of Elm and Hawthorn wood boxes featuring Japanese kumiko design within the removable lids.
Dark green leather bottom and Totara lining.
135mm x 135mm x 95mm tall - $275 each
Both the Elm and the Hawthorn used to make these boxes were harvested from an old hedge in rural Waikato ten years ago.
A larger version with a double 'Kakuasa', hemp leaf kumiko design.
